My Inexpensive and Easy Skincare Routine with The Inkey List Products

Hey everyone! Today, I’m sharing how I incorporate three amazing and affordable products from The Inkey List into my skincare routine. Let’s dive into how I use each one.

1. The Inkey List Retinol Serum

When I Use It: At night, as part of my evening skincare routine.

How I Use It: After cleansing and toning, I apply a pea-sized amount of the Retinol Serum to my entire face, avoiding the eye area. I gently massage it in, allowing it to absorb fully before moving on to the next step. Retinol is great for reducing the appearance of fine lines and improving skin texture, but it’s important to start slowly, using it 2-3 times a week and gradually increasing frequency as your skin builds tolerance. BTW, the smell is awful!

2. The Inkey List Alpha Arbutin

When I Use It: In the morning, as part of my daytime skincare routine.

How I Use It: After cleansing and toning, I apply a few drops of Alpha Arbutin to my face, focusing on areas with hyperpigmentation or dark spots. I gently pat it in until fully absorbed. Alpha Arbutin is excellent for brightening the skin and fading dark spots over time. I follow this up with my usual moisturizer and sunscreen, as sun protection is crucial when using brightening products.

3. The Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid

When I Use It: Both morning and night, as part of my hydration step.

How I Use It: After applying my serums (like the Alpha Arbutin in the morning or the Retinol at night), I apply a thin layer of Polyglutamic Acid all over my face. This serum works wonders for locking in moisture and enhancing the effectiveness of the other products. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plump, making it a great final step before my moisturizer.

Final Thoughts

Incorporating these three products from The Inkey List has made a noticeable difference in my skincare routine. The best part? They are all incredibly affordable, making effective skincare accessible without breaking the bank. The Retinol Serum helps with anti-aging, the Alpha Arbutin brightens and evens out my skin tone, and the Polyglutamic Acid keeps my skin hydrated and smooth. By using these products consistently and in the right order, I’ve seen great improvements in my skin’s overall health and appearance.
